Description Quick coloured sketch of my new fursona Disc showing off her pretty orange teefs. I am weirded out by my fursona having green in the design. This is new and strange to me.

Fursona is a play on the words "fur" and "persona". They are essentially avatars or representations that people use online. Instead of drawing yourself as yourself - a human - you draw yourself as an animal that you are fond of, and you use this animal to represent you. Although fursonas aren't characters, exactly (since they don't normally have "histories" or what have you, as they just represent you), they're often named, particularly when the person has multiple fursonas, as I do; that's why this fursona is called Disco Rat, to distinguish it from another fursona I have called Tonk. I chose a quoll as a fursona because I like them and they're connected with Australia, my homeland, and I chose Disc's markings as symbolic references to myself.

I hope that answers your question.
