These are some pretty dated sketches of some of the trainers who will appear in my Pokémon Tales comic

'Forest' is a bit of an enigma. She seems to know Ari and Britz, but her true identity is a mystery. She claimes to be a grass-type trainer, although they only make up half of her team. She may have more in reserve however.

Ari Gato is based on my wife and will be Rylan's main companion throughout the comic. The name is a double pun, Arigato meaning 'thank you' in japanese, and also being similar to Allie Catt, my wife's name before we wed.

She has many types of pokémon from various regions.

Britz Ferrera is a fire-type trainer. His name is a pun of Flare Blitz. He's a bit of a douche, but is a nice guy at heart who cares about his pokémon.

Rayn uses regal water types, and aspires to be the next Sootopolis Gym Leader. He is a little stuck up and overconfident, although he's still a very capable trainer.

Wayn is Rayn's biggest fan, and more than a little obsessive. He's not a very good trainer and uses derpy water types.
