Name: Tabitha “Tabby” Delcatty
Age: 30
Hometown: Veilstone, Sinnoh
Personality: Tabby is normally friendly, optimistic, and outgoing. Whereas she used to an introvert due to her troublesome past, she now makes a point of speaking to pretty much everyone she meets, although she still remains cautious before developing friendships.
She will not stand for cruelty towards pokémon or people, and has no qualms confronting others about this. She feels duty bound to stand up for the weak and oppressed, but in spite of this doesn’t believe herself to be as strong or brave as other people perceive her. If she is unable to help someone in need, whatever the reason, she starts to think even less of herself.
With a head full of bad memories, she is prone to nightmares and has a tendency to get depressed now and then, reverting to her old introverted self. She cares deeply for pokémon, especially her team as they are the closest thing she has to a family.
History: Abused by her family as a child, Tabby ran away from home when she was only 8 years old and has been on the move ever since. Unfortunately she still seemed to attract unsavoury characters wherever she went. Because of this, she usually prefers to travel without human company.
She has been known to occasionally slow down, spending time helping out at Rowan's lab in Sandgem and at the Solcaeon daycare. After exploring Sinnoh in its entirety, she eventually returned to Veilstone to strengthen herself by facing her past and training at the Gym, before setting off to see the rest of the pokémon world.
Constantly on the look out for new places and experiences, one day she came accross the Big Sky Carnival...

Pokemon #1:
Name: Solace
Species: Espeon
Sex: Female
Ability: Synchronise
Nature: Empathic
Hold Item: Bright Powder
Battle style: Solace’s strategy mostly involves not getting hit. She will usually set up with protective screens before launching an all-out long-range assault with beam moves. She also has a couple of tricky moves to hand, for when she does get cornered.
Favoured moves include Reflect and LightScreen, Beam attacks, Flash, Sand Attack
Athletic stat: Speed
Contest stat: Smart
Other info: Tabby’s first pokémon, Solace met her as an Eevee, taking shelter in Hearthome’s Church of Arceus one rainy day. Since that day they have never once parted. The two share a deep empathic bond with each other. Solace’s ball is a Premier Ball, but she tends to remain outside of it. She generally displays cat-like behaviour.

Species: Houndoom
Sex: Male
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Derp
Hold Item: Flame Orb
Battle style: Hades likes to make lots of noise, as well as use physical ramming attacks. He will try to catch small speedy pokémon in his mouth, usually failing to do so. Other than this, he will not use biting attacks against larger foes unless he feels that Tabby is in danger. He tends not to use special attacks you might typically expect from this kind of pokémon.
Favoured moves include Uproar, Howl, Headbutt, Roar, Pursiut
Athletic stat: Stamina
Contest stat: Beauty
Other info: Hades is not your typically mean and aggressive Houndoom, and this is possibly why his original trainer passed him on. Hades has in fact had several owners before Tabby aquired him. As dopey as he tends to be, his tail did not grow back like a Slowpoke’s after it was cut off by one of his old trainers.
He likes to chase small mammalian pokémon, especially those found in Eterna forest and the surrounding routes. He spends more time in his pokéball than tabby's other pokémon due to his tendancy to get over-excited and run off. Hades generally displays dog-like behaviour.

Sex: Female
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Stoic
Hold Item: Expert Belt
Battle style: Cari takes time to power up before going for the sweep, using a combination of physical and special attacks. She likes to use a variety of elemental moves to take down foes as quickly as possible. Cari also likes high places and tends to attack from above.
Favoured moves include Calm Mind, Bulk Up, elemental Punches, Pulse attacks, Hi-Jump Kick
Athletic stat: Jump
Contest stat: Tough
Other info: Ever since she was a Riolu, Cari has been a loner. Tabby had trouble keeping her cheerful, and had to spend alot of time training her alone before she could evolve. Since evolving, Cari has spent less time travelling with Tabby, choosing to train on Mt. Coronet instead (although this may be partly due to Tabby's Steel-type allergy).
Loyal to her trainer, Cari will always come to Tabby’s aid when summoned. She prefers to be outside of her pokéball.
