I thought this would take one day.
NOPE.
Sure, lineart was quick, but the dang flatting the ugly color stage and then detailing out his markings TOOK A DANG WHILE. Especially his markings cuz it hurt my hand quickly! AHHH. I like the result though.
ALSO I realized I did an "artist sin" with some of the colors being super close together... but I honestly like the look. xD BUT people don't have to do the slightly different colors if they color him. The only one I'd like to keep how it is is his skin compared to the underbelly of his fish half! But his hair colors can be the same as his fish dark colors. Same with the stripes on his fins and the stripes on his body. Technically different colors but I don't mind them being one! I just aesthetically like it. >3>
Okay now back to commissions and other refs I gotta do for myself. LOL
