Another of the commissions for my riding instructor... xDNow I just have to draw the two pending christmas commissions, then I will take a LOOOOONG LONG break from these...
This guy's name is Coco Loco, a wonderful, energetic warmblood gelding who wants to do everything correct. He's a sweetheart, an amazing mount and a gifted jumper. Too bad he's a private horse :'D
Did I mention that chestnuts are much more difficult to shade? I think I still have to figure out how to do that correctly xD
I used several references from www.foto-vik.ru and some pics I took on my own

Thaha, yep xD For every portrait I draw, I choose a special color to "plan" the shading - this time I took the purple pink, which seemed more fitting to the chestnut color xD and in the end, I drew the "bg" with this colour, too
