"Don't we have some murderers to catch? Why are we following those men? And why on earth are we asked to kill them? When..."
"Shh!" With a brisk movement of her hand, Jana signified her to be quiet. "I know that you wanted to ride this far in the front to
be as close as possible to your dear Lieutenant, but..."
"What? That isn't true!..." Summer blushed.
"Haha, I know." With a little giggle, Jana looked into the bright blue heaven. "Isn't that obvious? You're clinging to him like a
bur. I have eyes in my head, you know?"
Summer twisted her mouth and stared onto Blue's bobbing neck in front of her.
"What I wanted to say..." Jana rose her voice again. "The Sheriff. Can't you see that he has got eyes like gimlets? You
shouldn't talk like this, being just 5 metres away from him. He could mistake it as... mutiny." With the last word, her voice
dropped by an octave. "Heard, he's pretty quick with that."
"He is? Well, we're following some bandits while Walker is already over the hills and far away. Guess, he's also quick with
making mistakes." Summer chuckled. Jana couldn't help herself, she had to giggle, too. "You're playing with fire, girl. Look, he's
already looking over."
"He is? Hehe, then prepare yourself. Seems like the acting part is starting. Take one - Action!"
Summer waited for the Sheriff to look at her, then she dramatically tilted her head back and exclaimed in disgust: "Oh
Jana, don't disobey the law! What we are doing, is the law, and it's necessary to catch those bandits now!"
The adressed one hesitated, then she understood. She nodded wisely, then she said loudly: "You are right. That was stupid
from me."
Ellis seemed to be satisfied and looked away. And the girls - they had to control themselves not to burst into laughter.
"Summer...", Jana grinned, "you overdid it."
