Many of us know the story of Red Riding Hood. She's on her way to visit her sick grandmother with wine and cake and is tricked by a wolf to disclose her mission. In one version, the wolf is disguised as a human (so rendered during the werewolf trials circa the middle ages) and distracts Red Riding Hood into stopping to pick flowers.

It dawned on me how excellent of an illustration this story was to us believers and our own mission for the Lord. How easily we're distracted, how easily we're tempted to procrastinate in our work! It's a struggle we all share!

I ask for prayers for myself and others who are working on any projects for the Lord that may be deceived into ceasing pursuit of our goals for Him, that we may not be lied to into thinking our work may be worthless, or that our agendas do not allow for such work. I cannot express how important it is for us to show God's love to so many who need it!
