I actually pondered that. Android 18 is able to conceive a baby, so I figure their biological process are more or less similar to a human (if overpowered). Although I do like to picture them with very good breathhold capacity.

16 is built from the ground up
21 also had a baby, Dr. Gero's baby. This before being modified/altered/however she went from being a scientist and wife in a May-December romance to #21.

Well the only thing I can imagine would change that is that she has all of the traits of the Z Fighters, Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu rolled into one... and Frieza could survive in space so who knows what she can do.

Terminology gets a bit fuzzled for the jinzoningen. #16 would be an android, whereas #17 and #18 are actually cyborgs.
Still have no clue on #21. I know she's technically a MILF, but don't know if her body's modified or she put her brain in ... well anyway, no one's giving me an answer without stumbling on which definition is which. I guess we'll never know...
