Origin of this digimon:
Based on rodents as Gerbils, Jerboas and Maras.
Design-wise it's I went for witch like with wind element. Her rookie is based on a Jerboa [link] , and her Champion is also based on it, but the name "jaculu" is the Latin word for jerboa. Her Ultimate and Mega is based on maras [link] , and the word "mara" is also a kind of demon, from the Nordic/Germanic folklore. Often thought as an appearance of a woman, or any animal. The mara was the bringer of nightmares, and sleep paralysis might have been the inspiration as the sleeping person feels pressure and unable to move. Also that they think they see a demon sit on them. Mara is also the swedish word for mare in nightmare (Mardröm in swedish). So Maramon's name means both the animal mara, and the swedish word "mara" for mare. Nattmaramon is from the same creature, also called Nattmaran (meaning "the nightmare"). Nattmaramon is the bringer of the nightmares, that she stores in her octahedras.
