Woop, temporary character art! So as the title says, these are the leaders of each group, representing Virus, Data and Vaccine. The missions will have slightly different stuff, depending on the group you choose! And no, your digimon do not need to be for example a Virus Digimon to be in the Virus group. So a Data and Vaccine can join Virus group if they want. It's more determined by the teams personalities and way of how they work. We need more kind viruses and sneaky Vaccines ~
So about the actual leaders. I wasn't actually going to reveal them yet, or reveal that they were leaders, but as I'm going to do apps in the nearest week(s), I could just as well show them ~ But you have to wait for their history and personalities C:
I and agreed to take one group each. Me taking Virus and her Vaccine, and then one Digimon each on the data group. I take care of Soulmon, my un-named Fanmon and Flarerizamon, and Pikuna takes care of Shurimon, Davanamon (her fan-mon) and Butterflymon.

I like that you're going to let digimon of different types join different typed teams.
I never really noticed the correlation between virus = evil and vaccine = good. I always thought it had something to do with their digivolutions being corrupted somewhere along the line or originating from some strange computer thing.

yeah, that way you can make it more varied, instead of having a must bad virus team in a virus group ~
yeah o3o it's also that viruses are more likely to be tricky/mean/evil, but never needed too be 100% evil just because of their type, and same as vaccines are more likely to be on the nicer side, then data 50/50. So I hope to see some tricky vaccines and helpful rescuer viruses in the events C:

yes same, and that one was actually the other virus leader. But at the same time I wanted a virus fan-mon as leader, so thankfully there was his data variant! C:

Oooh, like the group divide...as well as it being about what the missions revolve around, and not necessarily what type the 'mons are. I like the thought of having nicer viruses and sneaky vaccines! We see them in the show after all (at least for viruses being nice...I mean, Wormmon and Guilmon are sweeties).
As for the 'mon leaders, lookin' good! Always loved Soulmon (I always thought Bakemon was cool and Soulmon is Bakemon with some badass headgear, and therefore, awesome).

yeah C: don't want anyone to be in a situation like: "Oh I like the virus missions, but I wanna use my Data digimon" and also good to not be forced to have a team of same type ~

It's so cool to see Flarerizamon being used for something, he's got an awesome design C: Although I would have guessed he was a Virus for his appearence xD

XD he does have a virus counterpart C: Darkrizamon, with black flames instead (was actually going to use him first, but changed to normal one so I could have my virus fan-mon)
