Day 602 - Building more confidence in lineart / Hand practice / My experimenting on cross-hatch shading (somewhat)

Continuing the theme of 'not giving a f*ck', being less aware of the perfection that I strive for in my lineart, I came up with another piece. And again, completing this felt incredibly liberating, it's addicting. And what's even better, I *love* the way it looks. The clean-messy look, the harshness of the lines and the slight mistakes that happen, all coming together to form this piece and I'm incredibly proud of it.

Again, trying to be more fluid with my stylus, going easy on some lines and going hard on others. It was around this point that I started to take note of *where* I should focus my harder lines on when I should lighten them. I'm not sure if there's an actual way of going about it, but I found myself thickening the lines on anything that's related to the subject matter (Chelsea's face) and thinner lines for detailing. It seemed to work well! Though, I'm sure there's an actual practical way of going about this, but at this point of time, this is what I've got.
