Day 604 - More clothing (& accessories) practice / Color practice / More experimenting on cross-hatching / Hand practice.

So Serpent has an incredible design. I love the way she looks, her dress, her spauldings? (I didn't draw it here, but those things she has on her shoulders), her colors... everything about her design is just really pretty to me. So naturally, I attempted to draw her.

At first, I wasn't expecting to color her which explains why there was some cross-hatching on her. By the time I decided to, I've already merged the layers, and couldn't be bothered to remove them. Either way, I think it still looks pretty presentable, the cross-hatching doesn't look *too* out of place. But it's definitely something to take note of in the future. A lot of her colors were taken from her reference picture which explains why it looks accurate somewhat. I think I'm still not ready to eyeball colors at this point, so really, credits all go to the eyedropper tool.

Either way, I'm still incredibly proud of this piece, despite her hand looking kinda weird.
