I love the subtle lighting. (Not to pooh-pooh the model, which is pretty cool!) The underside reflected lighting is so delicious!

I've been working (and writing a book) on lighting, so it's always in my mind. I even go outside (in the real world) look at a great scene somewhere and think "I wonder how long it took to render"

Haha yeah absolutely. You spend hundreds hours in front of your computer, and finaly when you head up your eyes nto real life, you're like "omfg how beautyfull is that light on this scene" for a totaly casual ray of light... lol !
Since Digital Camera, I must have billions of ref photography. Pictures that looks average and below, but that would become world famous if they where 3D !!! ^^
Or when you watch a montain, and wonder how many years it would take to reproduce all thoose incredible details in 3D, and how many CPU core you'd have to burn to render it corectly! X_X
But our developpers are coming closer and closer every day hun?

pour ce qui est de la légion .... on verra ...
en tous cas on y travail ...
pour le reste, il faut optimiser le temps entre mon taff régulier (admin systM dans un pôle aeronautique) et mon "extra taff" (la CG et tous les nabos qui vont avec)...ça fait des journées de malade ...
si on gère bien le trailer .... ça peut sentir bon ... c'est à dire fini les avions, les turbines et hélicoptères ... et bonjour la CG full time ....
je ne manquerai pas de tenir au jus ( en MP )...
