As this shot was added to the folder for critique, I am going to leave my critique in the format of a comment due to the fact that you don't have critiques enabled.
I'd like to start with saying that this is a great example of an unconventionally framed and posed shot used to showcase the subject's personality. I am not certain whether or not it is a self portrait, but it definitely shows an intimacy with the subject that is rarely found with standard portraits. How you are positioned in the frame bridges the difference between the sharply focused foreground and the blurred out background well. How your legs are unfocused merge them with the darkness that is present in the shadows of the background, thus increasing the ambiguity of the expression on your face. The edit of this work definitely showcases the pose well. I really appreciate how stark and deep the blacks are; they add an almost comic book feel to the whole piece.
However, my suggestions are as follows. Perhaps try to define the hair a bit more against the pavement. The saturation of your hair and of the pavement seem almost to be the same, and thus your hair does not stand out as much as it could have. Also, the whites of your eyes almost seem too white. Though that does enhance the gaze which you are giving the camera, I find it to be a bit distracting if I am viewing this as a pure piece of photography. As a character sketch though, it doesn't detract. In a similar vein, I also find the division between the two chunks of pavement forward of your face to be a bit too dark, as my eyes keep on being drawn to that.
