Interestingly, there is one video game whose logo is a stylized rose, and the way the rose is draw is almost exactly how you describe it in the tutorial here!
Of course, that's just one example out of many, but I like to think of it as quite an interesting, um, coincidence?

haha, it's a funny coincidence indeed but this type of rose drawing is quite typical so it's no wonder you'll find something similar elsewhere. I did make sure to make a tutorial for a typical rose so it's not too complicated and it's immediately recognizable
