Description
This is for the contest on the Gamefreaks group. The theme was to draw a video game character and what they would do for spring. I chose Earthworm Jim because he is an earthworm.Worms are VERY essential to the growth of new plants and flowers. Each tea spoon of dirt holds thousands of micro organisms which are needed for plant roots to breath. Worms play the part as natural tillers of the soil. They bring up the fresh minerals in the soil which contributes to healthy plant growth.
So YAY for Earthworm Jim playing his part in spring! Pushing up dirt is his theme and his way to help the new flowers come to life!

Eathworm jim was awesome, first 2 games, the cartoon series, and talks he might be coming back this year or soon is good to hear, this guy was and still is awesome

I tried playing one of the older games on the VC for Wii and man is it hard! I remember I use to love them as a kid, but I think I've lost my touch hahaha. And thanks for the comment.

Woah...have the games finally been re-released on the virtual console?,l I've been looking to get the original back and snes sparkster, still looking for them.
Yeah rocket knight adventures was a challenging game (original) and still one of the best platformers to date imo, wish the sequels could've held on to what made the first so great and memorable, snes sparkster looks good don't get Me wrong but like rocket knight (fun game) it still lacks a lot and I'd gladly pay for a worthy successor if I had the talent to do it and a remake of the first rka which I started a petition for last year and a friend runs a site (rkapetition) on here as well and np

No, I found it on google and drew from there. If I see anything on DA I always ask for permission and then link to the users original. Since I can't find who original does things on google then I don't link to it.

Yeah the sega version is on the wii, but I don't think it's any different from the SNES version I use to play as a kid.

I used to associate him with SlimJim when I was younger...for obvious reasons, hah.
That is wicked though...seriously. Definitely captured Earthworm Jim in his crazy heroic element. The style really lends itself to the nostalgic charm and edge that the games always brought on. Never played any of 'em, but I did watch one episode of the cartoon not too long ago on YT for fun...and Peter Puppy's pretty cool too.

LOL Yeah I was trying to draw it more in the style of TWEWY because that's something that I adopted as my style, but I'm breaking away from that now.

I just got it recently for VC on the wii. It is a great game. I'm not use to it anymore, lol but it's so old school and I love it!
