Yeah, it was awesome. I miss the feature that allowed you to travel with your Pokémon... And he's also my favourite protagonist! Supposedly he's the strongest one as well

Gen 2 games are the best "classic" Pokémon games, miles better than the Gen 1 ones (but those ones are more popular because of the nostalgia) and their remakes are probably one of the best games in the franchise, and actually, my favourite Pokémon games.

I definitely agree with all of that

They must be the most popular, because I lost my SS copy years ago and have since been checking every GameStop for a pre-owned copy to replace it, which I've had literally no luck those times.
I finally found a place where they have one today, but it was around $50 dollars o.o
(which is saying something since the other Pokémon DS games there weren't even $30)

That's interesting! Well, I can't prove that HG/SS were popular, because here there isn't a single Nintendo-related store here and Pokémon games are incredibly rare to get
