Yes, very manga-like. In tune with the black shades of your other work and very detailed and perfect finishing. Makes the work stand out a lot more. Now make all of it yourself including model and texture, and that'd be fantastic. Perhaps something to break the negative space as well.. maybe the person is in a fluid? small airbubbles in the ahirs and under the nose, and some flintery things in the black...

I really like the writing over top of the photo because it appears to be a journal she wrote that she wants people to see so that they will understand her, plus the image itself fills me with pain.. Her hair covering her face kinda makes her mysterious and seems like a want to be hidden.. very nice job -kia

That's really neat. I really love the profile on the black background...and the lack of being able to see the eye ball is cool, because to read a person you normally read their facial expressions.... and this person has none. Awesome work

The only thing i think is that it would be just a little bit cooler if the writing was more wrapped onto her face.
