Description My first attempt at long exposure B&W. Kind of a hectic morning, got up a little late so was getting lighter, THEN I dropped my ND4 filter, heard it bounce once looked around and it was gone.
Then some fisherman came upto me and said I wasn't allowed to video, I told him that I wasn't and he said I was lying and started to call over his crew! :anger:

Fair to say I quickly packed my gear and cycled off.

Brilliant result for a first go mate, i doubt i could get that on 4 or 5, shame about the ND filter.. and as for the fisherman, you should of just called the police, You are allowed to shoot stills photography where ever you like in the UK outside, if on private land than you cant use a tripod and its wise to ask but not the law.

I maybe should have stood my ground, but the sky was getting brighter, and the group of them possibly coming my way wouldn't have been worth it I suppose. Id rather not risk anything (beatings - or even worse damaged gear )

wow first attempt! mine wasn't this good for sure. doing this kind of photography is addicting and it would seem that most subject matter almost includes water, but try to mix it up from time to time. awesome shot and good luck!
