First ever attempt at water balloon popping. Those are my sisters hands.No manipulation. I only added some contrast and sharpness.

This is incredible! I just love the textures and things that you've captured. I've seen some of your other photos, so I've seen some really great compositions. This one feels a bit like a snapshot: the composition is pretty centered which is normally just all kinds of boring, but I think with the excitement of the popped balloon, that makes up for it. That is the reason why I give you 4.5 stars for technique - it could be a little more dynamic, but the photo still does work rather nicely. Everything else is awesome! I don't know if you have an edited version, but I think that you might enjoy manipulating this one a bit, or perhaps cropping some of the right side off.
