Too cute! She's a domestic short-hair, by the way, which is another way of saying "meta-cat". Its sort of what cats, when allowed to breed outside their pedigree, revert into. They're all-around hearty and great cats. The essential cat, if you will.

Haha I think you got your factoids mixed up. The gene that links both white fur and blue eyes together is the same gene that inhibits hearing in cats. In other words, cats with both white fur AND blue eyes 99.9% of the time are also deaf. There is no correlation between blue eyes and blindness in cats.

Thats amazing. i just rescued and orange kitten and its brother from my friends engine. he had to put water in his radiator and wen he lifted the hood these 2 cats were inside. little kittens. i got the grey 1 out first but he was a douche and tried to bite me. so i let him run off. the second 1 was this pretty orange 1 with golden green eyes. but he was so dirty he almost looked grey. he was stuck further back inside the engine. i reached in and he let me pet him. then let me take him out. and let me hold him. he was so nice. u dont usually see stray orange cats. but something about him wouldnt let me let him go. so i managed to get a shoestring losely around its neck until i bought him a collar. this little guy fell right into my lap. and for a stray is so well behaved. i already have him spoiled and it has been only 2 days. the 1st day he even let me wash him. which is crazy. ate the food i gave him also, no hesitation. after work i went out and spent 50 bux on things for him. so yeah... he pretty much came from nothing to having a home and someone who cares about him. hes so darn cute u cant let him go, ya kno?

her paws and fur pattern on her head indicate she could very well have Maine Coon in her. she is gorgeous and frankly looks a little like my male ginger Maine Coon
