I love little kittens, I have five cats of my own. I really like the palette of this picture, the orange of the kitty matches the blanket very well and the blues of the eyes and the blanket compliment the ornateness of the overall picture.. The focus is sharp but soft and you can see every little fuzzy. The hands in the lower portion look tender and loving and overall contribute to a lovely photo of a lovely kitten. The kitten looks very happy and content and you can tell there is a lot of love between owner and baby.
If that was my kitten I would knit it sweaters and I would take it to the park in a stroller! Just saying.

I love and cherish all my cats. I have five cats ranging from three years to fifteen. haven't had a kitten for quite some time.

I ADOOOOORE these kind of pictures. A fluffy little kitten, how can you Not Love It?! I love the fact that the eyes are so bright and... Alert! It is hard to photograph kittens, cause they are really lively and tend to be all over the place. Or asleep. Hello there. What can I saw about this lovely picture?
First and foremost, the composition is great. Pets/animals are very hard to capture because they don't know how to be still many times. This particular capture is very natural. I love the details of the whiskers and the expression of the eyes. It gives me the impression that she is looking at me like, "Hi -- who are you?" A sort of friendly, yet curious stare. I love that.
Secondly, I love the background; it brings out the gorgeous color of her coat and matches. I'm very big on matching color schemes and she looks bright and cheerful with that contrast. I also like that some of the texture of the fabric is visible making her coat look incredibly fluffy. In fact, I can see the contrast and just guess how soft her fur must be.
The entire picture makes me happy. The colors are great, the detail is good, and the expression of the subject is cute and genuine. Liked it a lot!

So so so so so so adorable! The eyes are very pretty and postioned well enough that you can see both of them, one of them very clearly. The whiskers are visible, only adding to it's cuteness. ^^ The blanket beneath the kitty doesn't contrast too much with the kitten itself, but it's a little too colourful for my (personal) liking. First thing I said when I seen this: 'OMG ITS SOOOO CUTE!' :3.... Okay Im going to start now...
Vision- What I noticed when I first looked at this picture, was defiantly the kittens eyes! They really stood out! I think that it is because the kitten's eyes are next to the blue pattern in the blanket, I can tell that it was the main target of the watcher. And the blue and orange really stand out! Good job!
Originality- Well, we all know that kittens are EVERYWHERE on the internet, and that it why I gave the originality such a low mark. It has nothing to do with the way the picture is. But there is just so many kitten pictures out there...

Beautiful piece, the focus is perfect and I'm really appreciating the soft glow (it almost reminds me of a baby's room, or nursery), the orange of the cats fur really contrasts with the blue of the blanket behind her, which enlightens your eyes. In most pictures, hands in such a position would hinder the effectiveness of a photo, but here, they really show the delicacy of the kitten. My only concern is the ring on the lower hand, and dark blue in the upper right corner. The ring seems a bit out of place in the picture (it is a hard metal after all, and everything else seems so soft)! And the dark blue seems to be a tad bit too heavy.
All in all, fantastic job!
