Soooo.... ive been gone for a while. I'm back from my camping trip and i am very happy too announce that i got a new tripod for Chrissie!!! *FISTPUMP* It's a Manfrotto 055XproB legs with a Manfrotto 324RC2 Pistol Grip head. Man. Its amazing. It feels so good to be taking photos again, i just couldn't with my old tripod. I spent the majority of the time readjusting and propping my tripod up with tape and sticks and the minority of the time actually taking photos. Photography is something i do for FUN and i just couldn't do it when i spent the entire time frustrated at my tripod.
My camping trip was good, but i didnt take as many photos as i would have liked. Ah well, im sure we will end up there again soon. When we go away, photography becomes so easy. My photos are pretty much ALL set outdoors and i feel so restrained by the drab locations around my house. As soon as i go to somewhere with good locations, what i want to create becomes a reality as im not held back by my surroundings. I dont like where my photography is. When i have locations, i do.
