Hehe... ya it is said that you don't talk about tech around non-tech people. x3

Niiiice! I got crossfire myself a little while ago, running water cooled in a Cosmos 2 case. I must admit, I'm a little jelly of your x99 setup as I'm still running x79 but still a powerful system.Β
So what games you playing? Β

Yeah. Nvidia do make some powerful cards, I went with AMD cos it made sense for my needs (I'm not a fanboy or anything, lol). Still though, I probably still won't be upgrading to x99 for quite a while, I've just heard too much about incompatibility and so on. X99 is still quite new after all. What res are you running?Β

Oh I'm only running 1080p at the moment... I don't have enough room for a triple monitor setup. x3
I honestly am satisfied with 60fps cuz my monitor only support 60hz at 1080p.

Now that you've got the graphics to deal with it, are you planning on upgrading to 1440p at any point? Or you just gonna stick with 1080 and call it a day?Β

I actually am planning to get my hands on a Corsair water cooling heatsink and I actually don't have the money and/or space for a triple monitor setup at the moment. xD

Well in the context of this post, he is talking about the Graphics Card/GPUs, (Graphics Processing Unit). This is the component of the computer that handles the processing of pretty much anything you physically see on the screen. They are the long, horizontal things you can see in the middle and bottom half of the picture. There are two major companies that make GPUs; Nvidia and AMD.Β
A GPU dictats graphics performance, primarily games, for example, if all you play is minesweeper and tetris, then you don't need a powerful GPU, however, if you want to play demanding 3D fast-paced games like Call Of Duty, Battlefield 4, Crysis 3, Mass Effect 2, Witcher 3, etc etc, then a powerful GPU is needed.Β
A more powerful GPU, will mean you can play video games at higher resolutions, with higher details, with extra effects like fancy shadows or whatever and so on.
However, powerful GPUs also cost a fair bit, so to save a bit of money, sometimes it can make sense to use 2 or more (up to 4) GPUs in tandem for extra power. This is known as SLI for people who have an Nvidia manufactured card, or if you have an AMD manufactured card, it's known as Crossfire. SLI/Crossfire are the same thing, they just mean multiple GPUs working together. Β
Make sense? Let me know if any of that needs explaining.Β

no problem.
If you want to know about anything, Look up Techquickie on YouTube. They do a series were they explain tech stuff "as fast as possible".Β
for example graphics cards, cpus, overclocking and so on.Β
