Fluttershy: Oh! Hello, L-Luigi... I was just laying here... preening my wings...
Luigi: Preening, huh...?
Fluttershy: Oh, yes. My wings are still sore after all that high-speed flying. I was worried I couldn't keep up with Rainbow Dash when we were chasing Applejack... and later on, Wheelie Guy. I can't believe that monster almost escaped with the Element of Honesty.
Luigi: Yeah... That-a was pretty crazy...
Fluttershy: I also feel bad about what Kamek and Morton tried out there... Poor Applejack... I spoke to her a while ago... but she's still a little frazzled. I would be, too, if somepony manipulated a bad situation to make me look like a traitor.
Luigi: *looks at the water morosely* ...She'll-a be fine. So... I was-a wondering if-a you wanted some-a help preening, there.
Fluttershy: Y-You... You want to help me preen...?
Luigi: Sure! It doesn't look-a hard. It's-a like a massage, right...?
Fluttershy: Well... k-kinda… You've seen how birds preen their wings, right? My case is similar, but... it's a delicate process. If you bite too hard, you may damage my wing.
Luigi: Bite...? No! I was-a gonna use-a my fingers! I'll be careful not to hurt-a you, Fluttershy.
Fluttershy: Well...……………………………….. Okay.
(Luigi sits down and gently takes hold of Fluttershy's wing.)
Fluttershy: Now, using your... "Fingers?" ...Gently squeeze the edge of my wing, where my mouth was...
Luigi: Okay... *complies, squeezing while gently scratching with his covered fingernails*
Fluttershy: Now, squeeze until I say to stop... ………...Ah... Ohhh... mmm... Yeah, that's good...~ Now move up a little and do it again...
(Luigi continues this practice until he's soothed every part of the wing.)
Luigi: *thinks* (Wow... This is-a awesome...)
Me: (Sorry, I have no idea how preening works...)
