Absolutely incredible special for Equestria Girls! We wanted it, we got it! There is nothing that I can point out that was wrong in a way.
From Sunset reuniting with Celestia, to the very first beach premiere in this series... everything just fit in PERFECTLY!
There is another one-hour short scheduled for this year, as well as a follow-up to this one! STAY TUNED!

Equestria Girls -- Forgotten Friendship [Review]
This is it! Hopefully we all get what we have been waiting for! Ever since Sunset Shimmer used the portal to transport herself into the human world, she has never came back an confronted Celestia. This was Sunset's past, and surely she has changed for the better, but will Celestia really accept Sunset for what she has done to Twilight? We've been crossing our fingers for far too long, and now should be the time for the reunion of Sunset Shimmer and Celestia. She may have stolen a royal crown and used the power for evil, but Sunset has really proven herself as a better person throughout these years. She has really been shining a lot more lately, and in this one-hour special, she's going to shine even brighter than before!
Now that is what I call a perfectly directed episode for Sunset Shimmer! It is absolutely amazing to see Sunset get so much screen time in a whole hour. I bet all of you Sunset Shimmer fans were very hyped for this episode after seeing all those interesti

It was quite the shocking moment for all of them. Just SO nervous myself though. I didn't even think she would of forgiven Sunset that fast.

It actually was pretty good, yes. I'll definitely watch it again soon. I haven't rewatched last year's specials, and I probably never will, but Forgotten Friendship was something else.

OMG, BEST SCENE OF THE SPECIAL (along with Sunset's sacrifice)!!!! <3 <3 This was really so heartwarming to see Sunny finally reunite with Celestia and also interact with Twilie. x3 They were so adorable together.

SO much agreed. Along with ALL of the interactions of these two in pony form. It's literally the ONLY interactions that were full of laughter, and cuteness!!
