Summer is drawing to a close, but luckily we're still getting those hot, hot days of the warm sun!
The last few days, it has been a steady 90+ degrees here in PA. I was just wishing I lived next to a beach. ^^

They definitely deserve a break from the School of Friendship, while (sighs) Twilight Sparkle and her friend Starlight Glimmer clean up the mess Cozy Glow has made inside the school. To me, Cozy Glow tops number 1 to best mlp villains... that little brat. I was right! To quote Twilight from season 2 episode, "The Canterlot Wedding"... "She's evil!" She manipulates.. she's a liar... oh boy she reminds me of Darla Dimple from "Cats Don't Dance."
Chancellor Neighsay... I feel some empathy in him, but to be honest, I don't hate him. However, I do believe that he was like that from colt to a stallion, because he probably had a strict family. They believed in discrimination, which makes their ambitions as leaders stronger.
The season 8 finale was pretty good, but it still doesn't top the season 7 finale. I enjoy that finale, but the nitpick I had... well... Starswril the Bearded... yeah I guess I will go with that.
Cozy Glow... on the other hoof... well she is number 1, but man the way she talked all I want to say is, "BE QUIET, Cozy!" Er, that's the nitpick I have until I watch it again. Starswirl is an interesting character and I started to like him in season 8. But for Cozy Glow, she is an irredeemable filly. An irredeemable unapologetic filly.

This may sound odd but I always found Cozy Glow to be a possible villain.
I can understand Chancellor Neighsay too. I believe that Equestria became to a bureaucratic feudal country in the last centuries and he grew up and socialized in by its rule and tradition system than came Twilight Sparkle and Celestia and six common ponies and things changed quite dramatically in about 5 years. What he could see in my opinion is that Celestia took Twilight Sparkle then years later she support Twilight's brother's marriage with Princess Candance than they get back the Crystal Empire and they became the rulers of it, Twilight Sparkle became an alicorn princess in some odd way and after stopping Tirek she gets a castle from the ground and now she founds a school and she even invites there creatures from other creatures including changelings which had very bad reputation until recently. In the top of all of the teachers are Twilight's teachers.
I could see another Grand Galloping Gala episode in the next season. I think Twilight Sparkle would be eager to introduce her school of friendship and it's students at the Gala. At the Gala the students the students could learn not every noble, famous and rich pony are the enemy of their school. I believe this trip would be very interesting for Ocellus and Gallus since Gallus admitted recently that he has no one to go back home which could mean that he has not much connection to his country while Ocellus' race had a very bad reputation until recently.
