the water in this image is much too bright/blown and the shot downward doesn't lead to the feeling that I got and felt was successful in the other two images.

Hi Marcus,
I think this one works the best of the three you put up. Here, colour acts as a separator of the body from the bbackground. You have certainly captured the cold feeling in the others but this I liked because the body stood out more.

Thanks for posting about my shots, I appreciate your comments and I agree, The colour shot was the first I worked on, after that I was just so tired, brain fried and I think it shows in the post process, I think I may take them off and re work them.
Thanks for getting back to me, hopefully these are only the first of many to come from shooting at this location.
