I love this.. It's Kaoru depicted a different way from what I've seen before. His hair looks more realistic and his eyes are smaller, but it's still anime.

I especially liked how you colored the hair so nicely and smoothly and the shadowing on his face is also nice. Great job here!!! xDD. not much of a critique, am I? haha.

The hair turned out beautifuly, a great mix of anime and realism. The texture is great, it shows a lot of work! The only this that could possibly use work would be the further eye, it looks slightly off. Though that would be getting picky. Graet job, it is a wonderful picture.
