Description
This is the fifth request! The character is Garegon 's character, Avian. Apologies for the zig zaggy lines that show up throughout the piece. Looking at my other pieces, you guys may have already noticed the lines. I don't know why they happen in the program I'm using, but I'm doing the best I can right now with what I have. ^_^ Anyways, I hope you all enjoy this piece; it was really fun for me to work on! ^ ^Avian's design (c)

And it may be the brush you are using, or the way you are doing lineart. I usually use Pencil at size 3, and well. It happened to me too. My lineart used to look incredibly messy, and it was because I would short lines. To make lineart smoother, trying to make longer that cover more really helps. Don't be afraid to have to do more layers for sketch, you can merge them later.
Also, I dunno if you are using it, but there is a tool called Clipping. Basically, you make a layer, make another and clip it, and everything you draw in the second layer will stay inside what you drew in the first layer. It's very useful for shading

Hmm, I dunno. I've actually tried some other applications (but had to quit using them since they either lagged or didn't allow me to zoom), and they didn't have the zigzag problem I'm running into with this current one. I do use long strokes though when I draw, and it's like there are solid pixels that act like a block my pen bumps on (if that makes sense). Ah, I didn't know about the clipping tool. My sister taught me to draw my lineart and create a new layer beneath the lineart for me to color on. That clipping tool does sound extremely helpful though!
