Haeton possess all the charm and class an upbringing of lesser means could bring. Which is barely any at all. Though he can act the gentleman and play the morally burdened noble quite well, he is far more likely to be crude and forward. He has a great love of living roughly. To him, living on the streets and fighting for survival is a natural way of the world. The high life of the wealthy is fake and laughable.

In a crowd Haeton prefers to stick out, rather then blend in. He likes to think of it as hiding in plane sight. He's loud and boisterous and has something to say to everyone. He has no consideration for a person's personal space and often irritatingly drapes himself all over anyone he talks to. Being raised in a brothel, predominately by women, he can be rather effeminate and finds it hard to relate to men.

He is immune to insults, and often laughs them off. After all most insults are in fact, aspects of his life. Dark elf, slum crawling, brothel worker. Take your pick! He's heard them all and in fact wears his stigma like a badge of honor. (Though calling him a high class dandy has been known to get him riled up.) If you have a problem with who or what he is, then that's your problem. Which is especially true to how he treats people who dislike him because he just so happens to have muddied up dark elf blood coursing through his veins. In the scheme of things, his heritage should be the least of what people could complain about.

Having no contact with other elves, he does not relate to them at all and in fact, is quite nervous when he is close to one, which is thankfully not very often. He did not put much thought into being an elf himself, because his life situation was not in any ways different then anyone else he grew up with. However, he is now at the age where his friends are starting to look their age while he continues to remain youthful. This has made for a rather terrifying realization that no matter how much he has tried to avoid it, or shrug it off, he is an elf and will out live everyone he knows. This fear is the soul reason why he takes such extreme risks with spying.

Haeton has lived on the streets of Amedra's less then reputable neighborhoods for his entire life. It's not certain exactly how he came to the Miras kingdom, but it certainly wasn't with his family. Raised by the women of the Four Moons Brothel, the brotheling life is what he knows best. As a young dark elf living in Miras, he made the brothel a lot of coin feeding the exotic tastes of the society's dark side.

When not in the brothel, he was often found roaming the streets with other children of the slums eventually forming a small gang that would often partake in all kinds of mischief. Each member of the group had a broadly different background, but they were all from poor homes- or no homes at all, in a poor neighborhood, living with adults who made their money through questionable means.

It wasn't Haeton who came up with the idea to start using their connections to make their own money on the side by selling information, but because Haeton had the most connections out of everyone and was the most charismatic about it, he quickly became the leader of a small information ring.

Soon the group had it's eyes and ears on all slum activity. Contraband shipments from the docks - they knew about it. Who was selling and who was buying. Criminal hiding spots. Drug dens and gambling houses. And through the brothel chain, there was an amplitude of lurid affairs that could get people into deep trouble if the information leaked out.

The small group made quite a bit of money for the information that they had to sell, or keep secret. Many of them even left their homes and jobs to focus mainly on spying, Haeton included – much to the brothel's chagrin. But in making money, they also made many enemies and after two of the group's members were savagely beaten by rivals, Haeton realized that a group of kids playing at dangerous games were bound to get themselves killed.

With the group suddenly fearful for their lives, Haeton made the call and had the group disbanded. At least, that is what it looked like to the outside. Due to Haeton's love of living recklessly, he decided to continue selling information, but this time instead of through a group, he would do the brunt of the spying himself.

Haeton returned to the Four Moons and was greatly welcomed back. However, instead of returning to brothel work, he concocted an elaborate information chain that was filtered in and out through the brothel with the brothel taking a cut of all the profits.

With tensions rising between Miras and Koben, a dark elf running around the city at night, spying on people did not look very good to Miras soldiers. This is why working out of the brothel was so great. It supplied Haeton an alibi as to where he was at any given time, or what he was doing. After all, it wasn't really secret that Haeton lived in the brothel in the first place. When you grow up in an area, the community tends to know you're there. It WAS however, a secret that he was a spy. The brothel just became known as a source of good information. If you wanted information, you would have to approach other brothel workers who would then assess your motivations. If you passed, you would be permitted to see Haeton. However once you knew who Haeton was, you could come and go as you pleased with the understanding that so long as you didn't spread Haeton's secret, then he would not spread yours. Most people believed that the matriarch of the brothel was the person you needed to talk to in order to get information. Which wasn't entirely untrue. After all, she had final say on whether you could see Haeton or not. With Haeton making good coin for the brothel, there was no way that she was going to risk him getting arrested or killed.

To many this life might have seemed traumatizing and cruel, but to Haeton, this was his world, and he loved living in it.

Since the attack on Amedra, Haeton has not ventured out much and has all but been put on house arrest by his fellow brothel workers. They won't risk his life by having him get shot by someone fearing he's a Koben soldier. He is slowly starting to come down with a bad case of cabin fever.

-His right eye is silver and his left eye is brown. The black of his hair has a brown tinge to it in bright sunlight, which are pretty good indicators that he is not fully dark elf.

-Though never mentioned out loud, it is believed that Haeton was somehow stolen or smuggled from Koben when he was a baby by the brothel matriarch who was distraught over the loss of her own child. Whether or not his real family is still out there is a mystery.

-He is incredibly jealous of half elves. After all, if he had to have elf blood, then let it be mixed with human so that he wouldn't have to live for so long.

-He loves humans, but would never allow himself to have children with one. Outliving your children and your grandchildren and your great grandchildren is the best mood killer any man could ask for.

-He doesn't wear earrings anymore due to someone accidentally ripping them out when he was young.

-A skill he's developed and enjoys from living in the brothel his whole life with mainly women, is hair design. He'll often be found doing the hair of the women who live with him.

-Haeton has a soft spot for anyone of lesser means. Especially children. Anyone from a rich background can take a hike!

-Taking cues from his hair and his eyes, he incorporates an asymmetrical look into everything he wears. He is aware of how ridiculous it looks, but he likes it.

-He's never left Amedra and the thought of doing so is nerve wracking. If he did have to leave, he would probably go to Koben, because he'd be more accepted there.

-Haeton's weapons of choice are daggers and twin short swords. You don't make spying a living and not have SOME means of protection in case things go bad. Not only that, but working the brothel life isn't exactly the safest of professions. He lacks formal training with his weapons, but do not think he can't hold his own. He fights quick and dirty.

-When he arrived at the brothel as an infant, he was nameless. One of the workers claimed that people would “Have a hate on “ for the young dark elf. So he was named “Haeton”. Everyone knows it's a terrible name.
