Yep, am I back, will start making artworks? I do not know, but I know for sure that it seems that I am Still Alive. This was a triumph, that recent new hardware purchase, finally, I was able. And well, I had to test it for a long time, I can even finally run Blender 2.8 without crashes and errors. Which has already pleased me. Although, the old interface was bette... ahem ahem. I tried, still can't get used to it.
So I do the work in 2.79, then open it for rendering in 2.8, but accidentally overwrite the file, and I can no longer open it in 2.79. Yeah... What does it say - What's life without whimsy?
And 9 months, even 10, whoa! I've never had such a long gap. Over the past few years, I’m so used sometimes in my free time to do all these 3D things. And that it was terribly unusual to not have free time and access to this. Although you can see the good in this, you don’t die of pain and torment in trying to understand Blender's shaders and nodes. Definitely!
Don't know why, but always as I open my work in Blender, I start to make shaders and nodes from base.
- Save and use it again? - Nope...
- Save and append it? - Nope...
- Use ready material library? - Nope...
- Make an ultimate Node group that can always be called from submenu in half a sec? - Oh, sur... - Nope!
For me this period was very difficult, and for a couple of months I will definitely not have enough time again. Never been so busy before. And current situation with coronavi... ahem ahem. So I am working from home now, the reason why I have free time to make this render. And yeah, btw 2020, are you going to start normally, huh? no?!
And If really about this render... It's curious how something that takes sever hours, now, still takes several hours but a bit less. And you can see the good things in this again, now I can render in much higher resolutions and with large samples. But also I understand, that all bad or sudden details and defects becoming visible now, while in lower res, it would not be so striking. Bless the render region. Oh, sorry KeyShot, it's too late... So for hi-res images, I need to work more with small details, and bless Eevee too, for ability to roughly see what the render result will be. Think after hard work, you can really do great artworks, and proudly write from below: without post-processing. Ok, although, who am I kidding, how not to resist the opportunity to add some sort of super wow effect in Photoshop... ?

Why Amelie from DS was chosen for this render, I didn't know in advance, accidentally went to Deviantart, and the first thing I saw was this model. And was surprised, although now you can pull everything out everywhere, you only need to be able to. So decided to just download the model, and open it in Blender. And away we go, immediately pleased with the quality of the textures. Here it is.
And apparently, what many say, the game came out quite good. But I did not play and did not watch for Death Stranding yet, and all that hype and Kojima geni... AHEM! Oh, please stop... and all that hype was not created just for that, hope to play or watch it soon, cause I really liked the character designs, their image and presentation. I don’t even know about the plot. So here I cannot but try it, when some amazing people extract her. Big thanks and Спасибо!

Hey, there is Cycles render, but here I used combinations of Diffuse+Glossy+Translucent shaders, of course Photoshop magic too
