Alright, so basically the idea I have in mind for the catwitch is that she wants to win a witching contest, enlists the help of a demon , then friendship happens and instead of giving her soul to his boss , the demon decides to live with her.
At first I had a lot more complicated ideas, but then I decided to go for something simpler. I picture it as a sort of Don Bluth-esque movie.

Hence we have these sketches for the Hellhound Lord.
The first page was to find his look in preparation for the digital piece. I wanted him to look similar to the doberman dogs from Oliver and Co., but went by memory so as to not make him look exactly the same. You can tell it took me some time to find that certain look. Usually I start sketching in the upper left of a page, then move sort of diagonally down to the lower right, then back up and then all the way around till the page is filled. There's also a bulldog hellhound which might or not might appear.
The second page was made after the digital piece. My idea is that the boss of course knows of the betrayal and shows up in person to the witching contest to drag the catwitch down to hell. He sorta drags her and the demon to an upper level, basically a cave and starts chasing her. To this end, he reveals a second, more demonic form with fire running down his back. Running on all fours, giving jumpscares, he's basically toying with her.
The catwitch defeats him temporarily with some magic ingredient that demons are allergic to or something, which brings us to page three: the absolute horror moment of any Don Bluth film. The demon overlord has fallen into a pit of lava and suddenly comes back fuckhuge and nightmarish and the catwitch and lower demon have to escape. They manage to, of course, and since the lower demon now can't return to hell anymore, he lives with the catwitch. Cue sequels and/or animated series.
