Description
Meet Yooka & Laylee: The new duo on the block that are the successors of a certain bear and bird named Banjo & Kazooie. The game is nearing next month of April 11th and so far from many people who've tried it, nostalgia will kick in as if you were in the N64 days again, playing platformers. So, here's my way of celebrating to the platforming genre and thanking Playtonic Games for stepping up.
(NOTE: While the game/company has been suddenly swept into controversy via poor decision they made, it's not stopping me from getting the game. I play games for entertainment like I always do every game that interests me. Plus, getting offended on every little thing just isn't who I am as a person.)
I took my time on the lines this time, experimenting with thin and thick ones. Kinda like how you see in Okami/Okamiden, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero or any other way people do lines such as this. It's nothing special really. It's just nice to break away from my normal lines. Hope you like it!

I'm with you I still plan to get the game, I really don't care about politics, one thing still bothers me though I recently just learned that there will be no retail version for the switch they said they might change there minds later but if they don't then i'll have to bum my sister to use her ps4 then

Well, I'm fine with having the digital version. I mean that's like half the indie games in a nutshell. But I would've liked a physical case. There's just something about holding a cartridge or a CD that is just memorable.

Ah, I know what this is about and it's alright if you don't buy. Honestly, I think everyone's blowing the whole thing out of proportion and bandwagon mentality kicks in the minute a game company does something controversial. I just hope they don't get death threats because no one deserves that. I like that Playtonic Games admitted honestly instead of going behind everyone's back and removing the cameo silently. To me, that would also get people even angrier.
But yeah, at the end of the day, I'm still buying the game because well, I like games. I don't really pay any mind at being labeled and what others may think. So, it's fine if you don't get the game. I'm not one to push people to do so if it makes them uncomfortable. ^^

Thanks for understanding that I just want to play the game. It's like I know the world isn't all happiness nowadays but life is too short. We live in a world where speaking our minds or having different opinions is more dangerous than usual. I can understand why PG did it but it doesn't make it right. Really dumb move on their part that could've all been avoided if they just left things as they were. And the ex. voice actor still wishes them the best and is calm about it. But yeah, this poor decision may/may not have hurt the launch. Probably the 1st one. No doubt it's gonna be a rough ride for them.

This hasn't even been the first time when the entertainment industry has been forced to restrict certain viewpoints. Anyone who dared to question capitalism in it's purest form in the 1950's lost their jobs, their homes, EVERYTHING.

Unfortunately not due to low funds but, I did spread the word to help get it more known that this actually was happening and it's no dream. If I could, I'd be throwing money at all the incredible indie games we have out today including this one. ^^
