Yeah that's exactly what im going for im really happy you said that! Yoji Shinkawa is the man in so many ways. I really need to get some of his art books. The only Metal Gear art I have is in the book that Ashley Wood did the animation for and it's very stylized. Thanks for the comment anyway man, cant wait to finish it but my eyes are burning I gotta take a break!

haha thanks very much! but yeah the more I draw it the more I see giant robo penis's. But thats pretty funny. And ray is very organic looking unlike rex, which really looked like a tank with legs! It's inspired me to try some of my own mech so when I finish this I'm going to be on the lookout for inspiration of my own. Just going to watch Battle For Los Angeles now, maybe there's some robot action in there to inspire!

You're welcome! If it wasn't for the wonky arm-thing going on with Ray, I think it'd be my favorite metal gear because it's organic. I love the feet on Ray, but the arm-thing... it kills me every time. Just looks off. GEKKO are my favorite - good mix of organic Rayness and the tankness of Rex. Also, they moo. Awesome. Good luck doodling up your own mech - I never had much skill in such things myself.
