Description Benev is the Egyptian name for the Phoenix.
Even better: Phoenix is the Greek name for the Benev.
Changed some features in the gradient and feathers.
All made in Inkscape.

Check the official Inkscape website, they may have an e-mail where you can suggest such submition.
Also, there is a new online magazine coming that talks about Gimp, but also Inkscape or other open source graphic softwares. They closed the 1st issue submissions a few days ago, but you can submit for a next issue. Here are infos about this mag !

Hey, you are right, it's Benev (Benu or Benv are equally accepted transliterations).
So... What's Deneb? A star?

Beautiful work, the phoenix is great and the fire of their wings is majestic, but the name of the egyptian phoenix is not Deneb, is Bennu, you can look on wikipedia
