ive downloaded the rial for drag ting cant see to get my dock like that ive found out how to get it completely translucent but not a blackbar like that.

the extended dark area in the bottom of your screen, have you made it via photoshop and applied it by geektool then using transparency in dock or is it done by the softwares?
