Description
The carpenterI met a man, a backpacker with the weight of the world behind him.
There was something about his eyes and he seems to be able to look through me.
All the pain the suffering and flaws.
He spoke with his eyes and said
“I am a carpenter. I repair things and build things from scratch.
I would like to stay in your hotel forever if you invite me in.
We can rebuild this hotel together and make it even better than before.
I can afford to you my carpentry skills. I promise you that you will never feel poor again.”
But my hotel is not worth much. In fact it is filled with holes.
“A carpenter sees the potential of the wood. Not the problems and the flaws."
