Description This was just a fun piece for the season.

Frankenstein's monster is my all-time favorite character ever created. This character has inspired me more than any other and continues to do so on a daily basis. The wolfman and Dracula were also big influences on me as a kid and I always felt like these characters were my heroes.

I have them as some of my heroes as well, ever since I saw that movie, "Monster Mash!" I even feel that Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, and the Wolfman are the spirits of Halloween!

Pioneers of the monster world. They set the path for all future horror movies, all three of them are still number 1 in my book.

This is awesome. Awesome.

I've been on a '30's monster flicks hangup lately and this makes me grin. Dracula looking VERY Bela Lugosi-ish. Frankenstein as Boris Karloff. And The Wolf Man as Lon Chaney Jr.

Remarkable. All it needs is a castle in the background.

tspeecestudios [2006-10-25 01:30:50 +0000 UTC]

Dracula has always been my favorite, but there just wouldn't be a classic without the Wolfman and Frankenstein's monster...although personally, I thought Frankenstein was a bigger monster with his lack of compassion for his creation and all.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

sideshowmonkey In reply to tspeecestudios [2006-10-25 16:33:39 +0000 UTC]

Yea, I agree. Frankenstein was more of a monster although there was an innocence about him. Like a baby in a murderer's body. Good times.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

tspeecestudios In reply to sideshowmonkey [2006-10-26 03:53:14 +0000 UTC]

Well he didn't technically start off as a monster, remember? He stumbled around, got a little tormented, then got all angstified and murderous.

sideshowmonkey In reply to tspeecestudios [2006-10-26 05:13:44 +0000 UTC]

Truley the classics!!! You've even managed to capture the likeness of the actors notorized for bringing these characters to life. Excellent addition to your gallery and a wonderfully timed piece for the season.
