This piece is for my 70,000th pageview contest. The winner of that contest got to choose what 80's horror film I will do fanart for next. won and he picked the film "Hellraiser".I really liked the originality of these characters and had a lot of fun drawing them. I remember reading "The Damnation Game" when I was in highschool right after seeing the movie and began drawing people getting ripped apart by chains all the time.
I still haven't seen any of the sequels past the 3rd one, I don't know if I can handle seeing cenobites in space.

I'm surprised you used those cenobites instead the much popular "CD head guy" and "Camera head guy" from the later movies.

HA HA! I used to hate that camera guy. HE made no sense to me and how it worked. For some reason all the monsters were fine but then when they started mixing appliances it lost me. I was waitng for a cenobite with a fruit squuzer for hands or a waffle iron for a mouth or something.

I loved the films when I was a kid..except the teeth chattering one used to freak me out. I was always puzzled by the end, who the hell was the tramp who turned into a skeleton dragon...excellent as it was. Cool pic, mate, I've missed ya art.

That is just great. I love your Pinhead and all the Cenobites - they look superb. Hellraiser it's just one of those horror movies that grab you and you can't look away. At least, that was how I felt when I first watched it, and even now, many years after, the movie still gives me the chills. It's impossible for me not to fav this
I read the Damnation Game a couple of years ago, and it was a pretty intense scary book!

Wow, awesome work, as always. ^^ I haven't seen "Bloodline" yet, but "Hellseeker" and "Inferno", the two that followed it, were quite good. "Hellseeker" played more on the psyche than anything else...I really wasn't expecting the ending to be that way, is all I'm saying. O_o
I love the designs and the coloring, the bright blue-ish glow is a classic. And I spy Uncle Frank in the corner, there.

Yeah, the Cenobites in space was a little hard to handle, but Hellraiser Inferno is really good. It's got a lot in common with the original novel.

This is a great piece... I'm a huge Hellraiser fan myself and you did a good work of representing the these guys...
I especially like the Chatterbox, with the detailing on the mouth area... though I think the Female Cenobite could have had a better pose or expression or something, but I wouldn't be able to come close to your skills so I shut-up now...

Well, we sat through the 4th movie recently and it was BAAAAD. They had Pinhead doing things that he would never do ordinarily. I'm a big fan of Pinhead. Thank you!
