A new and gruesome take on the Skunk Ape or Legend of Boggy Creek beast. It's as if the Skunk Ape used a human skull and swamp muck to make a mask cranking up his horror factor.

I loved the "Legend of Boggy Creek" as a kid, still do. And have been fascinated with the Skunkape for several years now.

Sometimes I think the Skunk Ape is based on escaped zoo apes and exotic pets, but who knows? There have been Bigfoot sightings not far from where I live in West Virginia. I once spoke to a fellow who swears he watched one for about 15 minutes. It let out a classic bellow that was so loud you could feel it, and then a reply came in the distance. Again, who knows?
