I was pretty happy with the HALLOWEEN DEAD piece I just put up and had to work it into a fake comic cover. I'm starting to accumulate a bunch of these comic covers, I might need to put out an artbook of them.HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

the first thing i thought of when i looked at this was the smell old comics have when thye have been stashed away for years boxes in attics or basments. that kind of musty smell.. god i love that smell

Terror-iffic!! This looks great, and I'm sure if it existed, I'd own a copy. I love horror comics like Vault of Terror and Tales From the Crypt.

The only flaw with these fake covers, is they make me want to read the stories within. It makes for a strange mixture of joy and torment.

haha. I love the title and all of the little commentary on the cover. Great stuff. The art itself is, of course, excellent as well. I like the hint of halftone.

I really like the idea, though the "tomb of holloween" part pops out almost like a sticker. But it's really good idea though, you should defiantly do more.

I just look at the old books and try me best to make it have the same feel. Nothing special really to pull it off.

Sweet design! I agree with others who mentioned these fake covers would make an AWESOME artbook. One tiiiiiny nitpick - I'd remove "the" from the line above the title.. since it's already -IN- the title... so that it doesn't read, "What nameless evil lurks in the.. THE TOMB OF HALLOWEEN"
Then again, now that I think about it - going for the retro comic look it almost looks like it was done on purpose.
