So this an idea I had thought of years ago and kind of just brushed off after a while. But after talking with my bro K13-ZAR on this idea again, I felt the need to share it here with all of you.
Now as we all know, the Jaegers from Pacific Rim are designed to deal with the kaiju of their universe. So that means against the kaiju of say the Godzilla universe, they'd be DEAD. But what IF there was universe in the "fandom multiverse" as I'll call where the Jaegers were built and designed to handle the kaiju of the Godzilla series? That's what this is about. It's essentially Pacific Rim with Toho kaiju instead of Anteverse kaiju. I have read some fanfictions on this idea, including one that was REALLY good, but sadly I can't find it anywhere anymore Anyways the backstory of the universe I have so far is that is starts with Godzilla's attack in 1954 kick-starting it (because THAT hasn't been done before lol). Anyways it goes from there with humanity trying to figure out how best to deal with these titans until the turn of the century (around 1999) the idea for the Jaegers is born. Now I'm not entirely sure whether I would include mechas from the Godzilla series or any of the space monsters, though I certainly had King Ghidorah in mind I had a lot of the Earth kaiju in here for sure as well as maybe some original kaiju, though I'll admit I suck at trying to be original.
As for Godzilla's design, I thought the one from Godzilla Legends #1 (or "FrankGoji as my bro KaijuAlpha1point0 calls it) would work best here as it has a great mix of Heisei and KiryuGoji
