Admit it, when this scene played we ALL cried like poor Ruby here. I did, all 4 times at the theater
This is hands down the saddest moment in the entire Jurassic franchise. It breaks my heart to know that the Brachiosaurus that we first saw back in 1993 is the same one we see die as the volcanic ash consumes her. However, I do defend why JA Bayonna did this: what better way to say goodbye to Isla Nublar forever then with the dinosaur that greeted us there 25 years ago.
R.I.P. Brachiosaurus. You will live on in our hearts forever.

Just imagine the scene:
RWBY and the others on board the ship looked back at the island as a faint cry was heard. Everyone saw on the dock a lone Brachiosaurus making her way to the edge, crying out as if to say "Don't go, don't leave me here!"

Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang can feel tears forming in their eyes as the gentle giant calls out them, the ash and dust from the eruption consuming her. The tears begin to flow freely as they see her rear up on her hind legs and give her final cries, the light from the fires illuminating her through the smoke.Β They cry silently as the cargo bay of the boat closes, and the ship pulls away from the island. This is truly the end of Nicholas Schnee's dream....

At that moment Weiss looks at the back of one of the trucks and sees Ilia sitting in a corner closest to her.
Weiss: Hey, I found them.Β

Inside the truck Ilia is doing her best to tend to Alpha, the Velociraptor strapped down to a table. She's trying to get the bullet out but Alpha's desperate attempts to get loose and her muffled cries of pain and confusion make Ilia want to cry.
Ilia: Easy girl. I know it hurts but I'm trying to help. I just need you to cooperate.
