Walking past the streetlight,As it glows in hope,
To help a wandering loner,
Who has lost all hope,
Walking on the sidewalk,
As it bears the pain,
To help the rushing crowd,
Even when it rains,
Sitting on a lonely bench,
As it waits for somebody all day,
To relieve a person of all dismay,
Whoever the person,
Whatever the place,
We should love these things,
For the support they bring.
