Huge file, Download for full view! This is one of my favourite techniques, I just love the way the black and white looks so crisp on grey or other toned papers. You can also used coloured pencils with this technique.Here are some more examples, the last three are looser sketches though:

Actually this made me think of trying out toned paper
I never used it because I was always sceptical
But your tutorial was so inspiring

I love drawing on toned paper! I bought a light brown and black drawing book in South Korea for this reason. I'll have fun using your tutorial. Thank you for making this!

I love it too, it's so much fun! It just looks so much more dynamic than white paper. I'm glad you found it helpful!
