Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Weapon Design contest entry
I’ve been super hyped on Charge Blades ever since they first announced them and seized the crap out of the opportunity to design one.
The design process is a little ridiculous because it’s like designing mechanics for 3 different things at once and making sure they all flow together, but it was definitely a fun challenge and I’m really satisfied with the outcome!
There’s a lot of great designs I’m already seeing on Tumblr and I’m super excited to see who gets picked! Just seeing anyone’s art turned into a functioning Monster Hunter weapon is awesome so GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!

I really like this design. Only thing about it(I'm a bit ocd) is that your right side is really a left side. It needs to be flipped/mirrored unless you're portraying them as two separate swords which I don't think that's what you were going for.

Great design, and I love the name! Having the tree develop into a hand on the blade is pretty cool. The axe mode looks awesome as well, I really like the little leaves and the trunk wrapping around the handle!
