Description
Home: Where the Gang, Sylvia, Acacallis and Kildeez live. Kildeez lives in a car in our backyard- why he does this with a massive facility and dozens of workers that can build him an actual house, we don't know, and he won't tell us. House is relatively small compared to other structures in the homestead, but it fits us comfortably.Jack's Tower: Jack's isolation tower. As a powerful mage, he needs silence to focus on rituals and the performance of new magic. The tower is also loaded with hundreds of books we've collected in our travels, in case Jack needs a reference. Tower is wider at the top, as Jack needs space.
K's Shop: Kildeez's base of operations. A massive building, loaded with everything he needs to perform his engineering work. A Shatterdome adorns the roof, for when it is necessary to send a mech or infantry pod on a hard deployment- the large roof also helps with the storing of massive mechs. The Forge in the back of the building is used to help with the creation of Protoss weapons and armor. The machine shop next to it is used to create and deploy Siege Tanks, Vultures, and Diamondbacks, among other vehicles. Along with these features, the shop comes standard with bunks for it's workers, a restaurant, and a recreation center.
Armory: It's in the name. Where the Gang tests and stores all of the weapons we find on our travels.
Cybernetics Core: Used by K's shop to help with the Protoss. As the most basic warrior in the Protoss infantry requires leg modifications, and as our own soldiers, not to mention Squidsy and I, have implants to help us fight and survive, a facility to maintain, research and test these cybernetics and implants is entirely necessary.
Trading Outpost: Nia and Kat run this small band of tents, vehicles and huts. This is our port for trading with the rest of Ooo, and how we maintain our resource needs when we're not portal-jumping. We also use this port to aid Eliana and Scarlett, the two cowgirls that run the farm to the southwest of the Homestead- the farm that provides us and our soldiers with food and mineral resources.
Starport: Access to our fleet. The Starport features a nuclear silo and a training academy. Jessica Ritona, our fleet admiral, also uses this to land her dropships whenever she comes to visit the Homestead. For that matter, she serves as the conductor for the final stage of training for Wraith and Kodiak pilots, teaching them what they need to know to keep their boats intact and passengers breathing.
Defense Network: Photon Cannons, provided by the Protoss, and the Bunkers and Missile Turrets that Kildeez constructs, are placed at the cardinal points of entry in our Homestead. The bunkers are loaded with six marines each, which keep a 360-degree field of fire on anything within a hundred meter range. The photon cannons are used in tandem to keep air and ground targets at bay, and the missile turrets can launch a high-speed projectile across the length of a dozen football fields, should they need to.
Zerg Colony: Managing a peace pact with a renegade Zerg Overlord, we've obtained control of our own Zerg colony. Small, but it's triple-hive-cluster system allows us to put an army of biological death on anything that we need to. Capable of producing just about any Zerg unit we find necessary, the only thing these Zerg want in return is provisions- something we're easily able to keep them supplied with.
Barracks: In the name. Features a gym, bunks, a mess hall and a classroom, we train Marines and Firebats here.
Moth Castle: Tiny home of the Moth Prince, the pretentious little bastard that handles our mail. That's it. That's all he's good for.
Tavern: Aswell, in the name. Run by the cowgirls Mila and Nella, this establishment is the Homestead's figurative watering hole. K's engineers, our marines, and anybody passing through is welcome at the Homestead. Gang drinks free.
Sylvia's Laboratory: Sylvia Stormwood researches just about anything that crosses her mind here. Laboratory doubles as our infirmary, as Sylvii stores medical supplies of all kinds here. Medical gel is in abundance, but other remedies, such as Purging Stones for use in removing a curse from someone, can be found. Aside from that, Sylvia trains Ghosts here, the psychically murderous snipers. Only one Ghost is usually trained at a time.
The Lake: Overseen by the Grand Old Oak, this lake is our primary water reserve. Underwater canals run to the much larger lake a klick to the east, keeping the lake supplied with water. Our closest source of fish, and the most romantic place to take a loved one.
The Forest: An unholy place.
