Description
An orcane together with the bark beetle have left a significant footprint on the woods of Bohemian Forest, which ware not able to recover durig the last decade.
Yet, one has to admit that the vast landscape has its magic.

That same(?) pine bark beetle did a lot of damage in the US, too... It's sort of a surreal landscape with all the dead trees. I guess it has to do with climate change (at least here): This increase is correlated with shifts in temperature and increased water stress, which create conditions within trees that are favorable to beetle survival and growth.
