Yesterdays sunset was cold, but beautiful.Taken at a snowcovered lake called FoldsjΓΈen outside Trondheim, Norway.
Also my first shot with my new Canon 5D Mark IV.

The lighting here is so rich and warm, it contrasts nicely with the cold stillness of the scene. I like the slight angle of the tree, it adds a lot to aesthetic of your scene. You did a great job of including enough of the treeβs branches and the sky to keep this feeling expansive, yet not so much that it loses any of its intimacy. I also think you got the timing just right, the sun full visible but on the verge of ducking behind the hills; and the strong rays of sunlight that come down into the image are incredible. While this would probably be a beautiful view no matter how itβs shot (or at least making it look bad would take a phenomenal amount of ineptitude), you made excellent use of the gifts of nature here. Perfection.
